I’m an interdisciplinary artist, arts organizer, writer, and educator. I’ve shown work in the US and internationally, recently particpating in New York’s annual Art in Odd Places festival with a current project, Styling Sick. I’ve curated, fabricated, published essays and critical reviews. I have a Sculpture/New Genres degree from Cal State University Long Beach and a Masters in Fine Art from Goldsmiths, University of London.
Teaching & Mentorship
I’ve been working with students individually and in groups since 2013. I currently teach 3D Design, Textile Arts, Ceramics, and Film Studies at CSArts - San Gabriel Valley. I’ve worked with LA-CAMP, AbleARTS Work, and Stearns Champions Park Day Camp for the Arts in addition to private students. All of my successes have been thanks to mentors and teachers, and I am eager to return this favour and help guide young artists. I’ve worked as an artists’ assistant and fabricator since 2012. Some artists I’ve had the honor of working with include Olga Koumoundouros, Michael Parker, Uriel Malak, Jen DeNike, and Rita Munus. I’ve also worked for arts organizations including X-TRA Magazine, Flux Factory, Culture Push, and Materials & Applications.
